 It's been a while since my last post to you Sebastian, however to keep things in order this trip was shortly after my last post. You and your brother enjoyed your very first trip to Coronado beach overlooking Downtown SanDiego. We happen to discover this little spot simply because this is the exact same location where your Tia Nadia and Uncle Phil got married. It's beautiful it's a small little beach that has a spectacular view of our beautiful San Diego, we went with our good friends Ricki and his mother. I hope you guys had a good time. Love Mom!

Milestone Update

Dear Sebastian,
It's been a while since I last wrote to you and over the last month you have grown very much. So far you have outgrown all of your 3-9 month old nfant clothes and you are almost 8months, you are currently using size 12-18 month clothes. You may think this is silly but I was very sad when I put your newborn clothes away... I will be keeping all of your clothes and toys for our additional family in the future.

Sebastian you are a world of curiosity as your little palette begins to taste the wonderful flavors of food. You have now started eating solids.  Before you where 6 months I started making your very own home made baby food. Your first food was an avocado blended in our Baby Bullet but your first homemade baby food was sweet potato and let me tell you, you devoured the whole bowl and after every bite you almost bit my finger off you loved it so much. We also give you Baby Gerber food the  same kind your big brother had when he was a baby, although not the same as homemade you get the best of both worlds.

You are turning from back to front and front to back before it was only back to front! You never really enjoyed being on your tummy and now when placed on your tummy you turn right over. You also now sit on your own although sometimes we have to place pillows behind you just incase....Sebastian you are working your leg muscles like crazy you enjoy climbing on both of your mommy and daddys chest as if you where climbing a ladder. With all the climbing you are also slowly trying t pull your self up! You are very close and will be crawling in no time.

So, Sebastian what I don't understand is why do you enjoy playing with everything other than your toys for a few minutes. So far you are obsessed with pulling mommy's hair and glasses, remote control, cell phone, eating paper, pulling your dog Guero's hair, biting your mom's jaw! Go figure I think we need to get your cooler toys becuase your are so not interested in the ones you have know. lol.

Sebastian so far you have experienced your first: Trip to the Park, Sea World, Museum at Balboa Park, Several Restaurants, First Movie at the movie theaters in 3D (Cars), All Holidays from November 2010 to Now 4th of July coming near by, First time at the Pool (Baby Pool), Birthday Parties and most recently your tia's Bachelorette, etc. and many more wonderful adventure to come....

Your current schedule is there is no schedule! We go day by day. We also exclusively breast feed on demand and you eat about 3 servings of baby food a day. You take two morning naps and two afternoon naps. And your bathtime routine is usually around 8pm, we sing lullabies and read books before bedtime.
I enjoy watching you sleep in my arms sometimes when you wake up in the middle of the night I hold you just a little longer after you've nursed. I can hold you all night just knowing that you are safe in my arms enjoying all those unknown smiles while you sleep. We love you very much and each day is so great knowing that you are the reason you make us all so much happier. Your brother Jesse not only takes good care of you but he enjoys making you laugh and cuddle you with tons of kisses. Your dad is a happy mess and can't wait to see the both of you and your brother after he gets home from work. He devotes time for the both of you and it's a beautiful sight to see all my three handsome boys together enjoying life!

It's good bye for now but not forever, I have so much more to tell you son but will another day.

Dear Sebastian,
I just want to let you know that you have the most amazing father ever. After you where born your daddy has not only taken really good care of you but of all of us. He is perfect in every way and there is nothing more important to your dad than his family. Your father and I decided that the best thing for the both of you and your big brother Jesse would be for mommy to stay home. I love staying home with you and wouldn't change it for the world. I can even pick up your brother from school early and take him to his tae kwon do without rushing from one place to the other like I have done it in the past while I was working, and we couldn't have done this without your daddy he made this happen thanks to him and his work mommy can stay home. Thank you honey we love you very much and we appreciate absolutely everything that you do for all of us at home. By the way Sebastian ever since you where born your daddy has taken care of doing the laundry just so that I don't have to worry about it while caring for you during the day. Your daddy gets the daddy of the year award and has always had it in my eyes. Love you lots my little chunky monkey!

Sebastian milestone update FIRST TOOTH & ROLLING OVER!!!

Sebastian this has been a busy week for you in your developmental growth. For the past month you have been teething. Where you have shown severals signs of it such as grabbing every thing in sight and placing it in your mouth. Swollen gums and becoming irratable during your feedings have been other teething discomforts you have encountered. For comfort we have given you several frozen teethers and wash cloths and Baby Tylenol and orajel have been administered but after discovering that the FDA has discouraged the use of baby orajel due to the benzocaine in it we will discontinue the use of it. Its believed that it can be harmful and can cause several issues.
One Tuesday morning on April 26th I discovered one of your bottom tooth sprouting while feeling a little tiny sharpness as you where gnawing on my thumb. The following day a second tooth sprouted right next to it. You haven't been able to nurse or nap comfortably due to your teething discomfort but both mommy and daddy have tried to hold you upright during your naps which has been the only way you will fall asleep. Sebastian as your teeth started to sprout you have constantly stuck your tongue out as you have noticed quite the difference in your mouth the feeling of your new teeth arriving.
On Thursday you rolled over for the first time. You where on your belly doing tummy time and as I stepped into the kitchen and your brother was going to the restroom he noticed that you where no longer on your belly but on your back. You where no where near your mat and managed to move away from it.  We where ecstatic and the next day we got a chance to actually see you in action and we recorded it for daddy. You are officially our Rollie Polly! We are extremely happy to see you growing daily. We love you Sebastian.

Here you are in my belly Sebastian 8 months along growing healthy, big and quickly. Your Dad, brother and I where extremely excited for your arrival and couldn't wait to meet you. This picture was taken at home your daddy and I went out to dinner this night to celebrate mommy's birthday and your Tia Nadia's as well. You will soon learn that mommy has a twin sister. You and your brother are ten years apart yes we waited along time to have another child but it was worth the wait. Meeting you for the first time was extraordinary! Mommy loves you...

Mommy and Daddys Wedding Day!

Sebastian Mommy and Daddy where married finally after a decade of being together on May 15, 2010. When we made the decision to extend our family we decided to get married as well. You where growing inside my belly three months on this beautiful day in the City of Coronado. Owe my eternal gratitude to my beautiful twin sister Nadia for making my wedding day perfect!!!

Your "Lovey" you LoVe!

 Sebastian your Daddy and I decided that it would be a great idea to get you a little cuddly buddy to have and to hold ....tee hee You are about 20 weeks now and love to chew on just about everything. I gave you the option between this little lovey (monkey) or an elephant that played lullabies, you enjoyed the music but once the little monkey was placed in front of you, you snatched it up and straight into the mouth!!! Daddy and I are thinking we should get you a back up just in case. Your lovey is soft and in front it says I love Hugs and the inside fabric is a silk brown color. The best part is when the silky brown turns dark brown and this is how we know you enjoy it soo much. I thought Mr. Hugs would be an appropriate name for your lovey so when you need a comfort buddy to chew on he is there at all times!!! Mommy loves you.

A day at the park...

This was a gorgeous day son we went to go pick up your brother from school. He loves to play at the rec center and the playground after school, so while we waited for him we enjoyed a little sun with a splash of Vitamin D. Your so curious at this age your little eyes wandered all around the playground and watched all the little boys play. This will be you in a few years but for now you are still my little 4 1/2 month old. Mommy loves you!

Baby Wipes Case Covers

Sebastian I saw the cutest thing ever on you tube! While watching a video on how to make a wipes case cover I decided to try to make one of my own. It's so simple that I also decided to make one for our good friend Elise hers is the one to the left with the pink bow of course, I also made one for our neighbor which is the one to the right with the brown bow. These are so much fun to make that I've decided to make a few to either sale or give as gifts. These are great baby shower gifts and can be used for quite some time. Baby's use wipes for a long time and are carried absolutely everywhere so why not make them a little fashionable instead of the plain white case. I made a few for your diaper bag! Hope you like mommy's artistic side of her. I made this green and blue one to match your diaper bag. These I will keep in your keepsake box once we no longer use them. Mommy loves you!

Sebastian St. Patrick Day Pictures

"Your very first St. Patrick's Day, was on March 17, 2011." My friend Vanessa and I decided it would be a great idea to have the both you and Elise have your pictures taken together. You guys do not sit up on your own quite yet therefore this photo shoot was very interesting. The both of you kept leaning on one another and would slide down on each others side. It was hilarious! Elise was quite the model I must admit she loved being on her tummy. You although my little ray of sunshine are not a fan of tummy time. I think it's kind of cute that you have a little play date buddy! Hopefully when you guys are both older you can look back at these pictures together still as friends.

Sebastian's Nursery

Sebastian here are a few pictures of your nursery. You most likely won't remember so these pictures may help see what it looks like now and when your a bit older munchkin you can see all the love and hard work your family put into it making it perfectly just for you. I will never forget the day you where born.  You where born on your actual due date on November 7, 2010. I went into to labor just a day before  the 7th, and on this day we where going to paint your nursery. I experienced contractions the entire day while shopping at home depot for paint. Mommy, Tia Nadia, Nino Phillip, Big Brother Jesse and Cousin Christina

where all going to paint your room while daddy was at work. However

that did not happen because you where on your way. Daddy, big brother

Jesse and I couldn't wait to meet you! Mommy did 80% of her labor at home

and checked in the hospital around 11:30p.m Sat. Nov. 6, 2010.

All of your family waited anxiously for your arrival but you made

them wait even longer since you decided to come out into our world

 sunny side up with no complications. You where born during daylight

savings and I had you at 4:00a.m instead of 3:00am. We spent one

 night at the hospital and we where on our way home the following

day. To our surprise when we came home Tia Nadia, Nino Phillip

and cousin Christina had surprised us with your nursery painted in

blue! It was perfect four our little Sebastian. Thank you everyone

who helped make this happen especially to my beautiful sister Nadia

who goes above and beyond to making me oh so very happy.

Here is the rocking chair that took me countless hours of searching while on my lunch just to find the perfect one for you. I had to make sure that it matched the rest of your furniture of course but most of all it had to be the right one for our little See Bass, especially for all those nights that mommy will hold you oh so tightly nursing you, singing lullabies, rocking you, talking to you and most of all loving you! 

Now here you are on your changing table exploring your little feet that you find very interesting.

 Below are the rest of your nursery pictures and if you look closely at the last image Tia Nadia created a "Welcome Home" Sign just for you  and we have left it for you to see.

Tia Nadia and Cousin Christina help build your changing table till wee hours of the night the following day you where born. It came out beautifully. Even though they had very little sleep this night they did it all for you.

Here you are now we've experienced blow outs, wet diapers, and duck and cover fountains of pee from someone so sweet like you. Your daddy loves to change your diapers even though you are squiggly as can be you are growing more and more each and every single day. We love you sweet little pumpkin!

Your Jumperoo

 

You love it!



Sebastian your daddy and I decided that a Jumperoo from Fisher Price was the ideal activity center for you. The first time we placed you inside your new rainforest jumperoo it seemed all so new to you. You sat in it for a bit stared at the toys and gradually you started to grab and play with them. You enjoyed listening to the music but most of all you where ecstatic that you where able to jump in it. At 3 1/2 months you where a bit small to reach down but a box underneath did the trick. Now you jump up and down and reach the ground like there is no tomorrow. Happy jumping love bug!
